She learns, as the company grows, that she’s getting an intern, but instead of working with the usual high school or college-aged up-an-comer, Fey’s character gets a senior citizen.
Meyers tells Deadline that she has someone in mind for the role, but wouldn’t reveal the name. That puts Intern in the storyteller’s wheelhouse, as she usually pens movies about older women going through a life crisis.”
